Sandy Li (www.sandyliexec.com) began her career as an investment banker for Morgan Stanley in London, Hong Kong, and Houston across Financial Institutions Capital Markets, General Industrials Corporate Finance, and Energy Mergers and Acquisitions. After nearly a decade in executive search, she launched her own executive coaching and recruiting practice in 2014. She recruits and coaches Board and C-Suite level talent across investment management, financial services, global corporations, consulting, venture capital and social impact investing. Over her career she has personally coached over 40,000 executives globally. Sandy Li graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She has coached faculty at Columbia Business School and Stanford University and has been a guest presenter for Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, Brown, Columbia, Dartmouth, Duke, MIT, Northwestern, NYU, UCLA, and USC alumni and students. 

Roberto Hamilton is the Chief Investment Officer of AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), the world's largest provider of HIV/AIDS medical care. Founded in 1987 to advocate for hospice services in Los Angeles, AHF now serves over 2,500,000 people in 48 countries through a comprehensive network of pharmacies, thrift stores, health and wellness centers, affordable housing, and food-service programs. Having served on the boards of two international nonprofits, Roberto brings three decades of experience in credit, derivative, and equity investing to support AHF’s unique need for liquidity and growth by employing strategies designed to capture asymmetrical returns in public markets and leverage the structural protections of alternative investments.

Rob Langrick, CFA, CIPM, is Chief Product Advocate for CFA Institute based out of the New York office. He was previously GM of the CFA Program and before that Head of Practice Analysis, overseeing annual curriculum updates to the CFA Program. Before joining CFA Institute, he led Bloomberg’s finance education division where he built and launched Bloomberg’s certification product, which has now garnered over 1M designation holders. He began his career as a sell-side equity research analyst in London and after earning his MBA from Dartmouth worked in the private equity diligence unit of Bain & Company in New York. 

Sarah Auerbach is the Managing Director of Program Operations & Client Solutions at CAIA Association, where she drives the strategic direction and delivery of CAIA’s global education programs. Since joining the organization in 2015, she has played a key role in advancing CAIA’s mission through operational excellence, CAIA Member and client engagement, and innovative B2B solutions. Sarah brings a unique blend of strategic insight and executional rigor, aligning people, technology, and process to strengthen CAIA’s impact across the alternative investment industry. A former leader of UniFi by CAIA™ and with prior experience at IBM and in real estate development, Sarah’s diverse background reflects her entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to driving meaningful, long-term outcomes for learners and industry partners alike. Ms. Auerbach earned a BA in Honors History for Georgetown University.

Stephanie Wall is a seasoned EdTech and product strategy leader with over 20 years of experience driving innovation in digital learning. Currently leading content and product strategy at LinkedIn Learning, she focuses on delivering impactful learning experiences for technology professionals. She also serves as a Digital Marketing Program Advisor at the University of South Florida and is the founder of RedCat, a content and strategy consultancy. A former executive at Pearson, she’s known for building high-performing teams, launching market-leading products, and forging strategic partnerships that generate meaningful business and learner outcomes. Passionate about customer-first innovation, agile leadership, and inclusive team culture, she brings practical insights and energy to every stage, frequently speaking on topics such as EdTech innovation, content strategy, digital transformation leadership, and building agile teams that thrive through change.

Susan Elkinawy is a finance professor in the College of Business Administration at Loyola Marymount University. She earned her doctorate in finance at the University of Oregon in 2003. Prior to that she worked for The Capital Group Companies, Inc. and Executive Life Insurance Company. Elkinawy was awarded the 2003 Roger Best/Donald Watson Teaching Award from the University of Oregon. She is an ad hoc reviewer for several journals and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.

Jill Barnett is the Principal and Founder of Valley Consulting Partners, with over 17 years of experience in financial services and human resources. Her career spans community banking, remittance processing, and wealth management, giving her a deep understanding of both operational and people strategy. Jill has led cross-functional teams and results in HR, IT, compliance, client onboarding, and strategic partnerships, and is known for her ability to integrate people, process, and culture to drive business growth. As a trusted partner for the executive leadership, she led HR and M&A strategies for wealth management businesses; including employee experience and change management strategies.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Western Washington University and an Executive Development Certificate from the University of Washington.

Marisa has more than 25 years of professional investment management experience spanning allocator, buy side, sell side and advisory roles. Marisa is a Board Member of the Inatai Foundation, the UBS Trumbull Property Growth & Income Fund and she also sits on the Seattle University Investment Committee. In 2024 Marisa was recognized as an Influential Woman in Institutional Investing by Pensions & Investments. Most recently Marisa was the CIO of Pugh Capital, a fixed income asset manager with over $10B in assets under management. Previously, she served as the CIO of Montgomery County Public Schools which had $3B in retirement assets. Marisa’s prior roles include positions in research and investment consulting at Goldman Sachs, AllianceBernstein, and Cambridge Associates.

Marisa graduated from Yale University with a BA in Economics and holds an MBA in Finance and Economics from Columbia Business School where she was a Toigo Fellow. She is a member of the CFA Institute.

Mike “graduated” from Russell Investments in 2019 after nearly 24 years. He now splits his time between teaching asset management at the University of Washington, sitting on a few investment committees and boards, and managing a charitable trust. 

While at Russell Investments, Mike worked with some of the world’s largest corporate and public pension plans, endowments, and foundations to design and implement investment strategies to address a variety of investment challenges. He authored / co-authored research pieces on topics ranging from exposure management, active and passive rebalancing, and OCIO governance. He has spoken at industry events in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and UK. Over the course of his career, Mike was a member of Russell Investments’ Management Committee, Investment Committee, and Innovation Council and received the Russell Leadership Award.

Alicia Romo, CFA has 30+ years of Banking, Treasury and Finance experience. She is currently consulting with large US banks on complex regulatory issues. She was previously Treasurer and Head of Investments at MUFG Union Bank and retired in 2023 upon the completion of the merger with U.S. Bank. She was responsible for all aspects of regulatory capital, liquidity, investment strategy, and wholesale funding.  Alicia oversaw AUM of $24 billion including Treasuries, Ginnies, GSE, non-agency RMBS and CMBS and CLOs and was responsible for the establishment of the non-agency portfolio.

Prior to joining MUFG Union Bank, Alicia was a Senior Manager at Deloitte where she was an SME in structured finance and interest rate risk management. Alicia consulted nationally for investment portfolio management, securitization structures and in front-office and back-office securitization and derivative operations. She was a regular speaker at national MBA and securitization conferences. Prior to joining Deloitte & Touche, she was a First Vice President in the treasury department of Countrywide Home Loans handling funding, investments and derivatives. Alicia also spent 12 years in corporate banking with The Sumitomo Bank, CIBC and Bank of America, marketing various credit products, derivatives and securitizations. 

Alicia received her BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is a Past President of the Board of Governors of CFA Society Los Angeles. She currently serves as the Audit Committee Chair at Monte Vista Grove Homes in Pasadena, CA.

Mike Treidl, CFA® is Founder & CIO of Blue Coin Capital, a digital asset investment management firm specializing in blockchain assets and digital financial strategies.

Prior to founding Blue Coin Capital, Mike spent three years running Digital Alpha Investments, a proprietary trading venture with the goal of generating positive monthly returns by trading illiquid alt coins and other digital assets on offshore exchanges.  The venture engaged in arbitrage, high frequency trading, long/short strategies and other strategies.

Mike is a member of the CFA® Institute and the CFA® Society Los Angeles (CFALA). He formerly served on the board of governors for CFALA. Mike holds an MBA degree from the Crummer Graduate School of Business and a BS in Physics with a minor in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University

Sabrina Momand, CFA® is Director of FP&A at a joint venture of Ball Corporation, where she leads commercial finance operations, pricing strategy, and profitability optimization across retail and supply chain channels. Prior to this role, she led FP&A for multiple segments at Constellation Brands, overseeing strategic planning and financial modeling for high-growth consumer brands. Earlier in her career, Sabrina held investment roles at Tricon Residential, Wells Fargo Private Bank, Canterbury Consulting, and Mirador Capital Partners, where she built a strong foundation in financial modeling, portfolio strategy, and investment analysis.

Sabrina is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder and serves as a Director at Large on the Board of the CFA Society San Diego. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Isabelle Araujo, CFA, CFP started her career in Asset Management helping third-party distributers connect with investment opportunities and strategically allocate their clients funds. Most of her work was centered in facilitating transparent communication with investors and providing insights into financial performance and market dynamics. Later, she moved to private banking where she assisted Single and Multi-Family Offices access a wide range of investment products and financial services, from complex fiduciary structures to estate planning opportunities. 

While she transitioned her career to the San Francisco Bay Area, she has worked in both an early stage fintech company and a venture capital fund, contributing to their growth efforts and partnership building. 

She is currently a Wealth Advisor Associate at Focus Partners Wealth, assisting clients build tailored investment portfolios to align unique family legacy goals, tax specific circumstances, and generational wealth planning objectives. She holds a master’s degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
